I married a short woman, 5’2”. My daughter is exactly the same height. I come from a tall family, I would have expected a bit more height.

Mom was 4’11” at her tallest. Dad was 6’. All the sisters are under 5’4”, and my brothers are 5’8” and 5’10”. I’m 6’. I think you’d call us “Reversion to the Mean”
