I don’t know why they bother to show up.

Partly because if they don’t this administration (more than any other) would simply turn the room into something else, probably back into an indoor pool. Then claim that the media is a bunch of sore losers who don’t like the president and other bitching that only 30% of people will believe.

Partly because for the rest of us, it still serves a purpose to see a White House spokesperson step up everyday and lie their fucking ass off. It should remind us that none of this is normal.

And partly because even though they are lying liars lying their lying asses off, the moment the media gets closed out is the moment when this whole thing really is over.
