Just a quick thought.

Seems like almost everyone disagrees with avanti’s political positions. But, as this thread shows, most folks are willing to chat with him, accept his points when appropriate, and generally seem to even have a little affection for him here and there.

Just try to find a left-wing blog that shows that kind of class by its bloggers.
