Hi all.
One of my work colleges is a huge progressive democrat. She’s not just liberal, she’s full-on proggie. She’s a smart business woman who is very good at her craft. In other words, oddly, she’s a capitalist; but she is enthralled with the lefty way. She watches “Democracy Now” and subscribes to the progressive. Anyway… yesterday she said to me that she is sick of politics. She said that if Obama got his way and nationalized the entire health care industry that the US economy would collapse. I thought maybe she was kidding. She wasn’t. I’ll add this little bit of anecdotal information to the other lefty family members who have told me openly that they have soured on some of the left’s more radical and unworkable ideas.
Me? I think some on the left are figuring out that all of this government control will not be sustainable.
