I’ve heard you’re supposed to be able to turn that off, so no worries there. But yeah, I agree that I hate the idea of a game pretty much highlighting things, as though we’re too thick to figure out what items we need to grab and which we don’t.

I should hope so. I find a lot of the “go here, grab that, push this” kind of thing takes the fun out the whole experience. I recently finished (rented) Portal 2. No “hand holding” in that one, and genuinely entertaining and challenging. I don’t know how Valve can top that.
