I keep coming back to these facts:

Trayvon Martin was not doing anything illegal. He had a perfect right to be walking home in this neighborhood.

George Zimmerman was out driving around looking for trouble, and WRONGLY identified Martin as a possible criminal, then followed him and got out of his car to confront him — with a gun.

This is why I have a very hard time picturing Zimmerman as someone who was legitimately defending himself. He initiated the confrontation, beyond any doubt. If Zimmerman hadn’t been there, playing vigilante, Trayvon Martin would be alive.

God damn that photo of ice tea over his tarped body. God Damn!
