Well, I’m not DD, but I do think you’re trying to box in people without accepting what the alternative truly is.

It is certainly possible for Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, by one means or another.

It is likely that certain leaders of Iran see the possession of nuclear weapons as desirable.

Yet, as I’ve posted here before, when in history has the US been able to prevent a nation from getting nuclear weapons if that country really, really wants them?

It’s exactly because of the limited number of options that US administrations, including those previous to the current one, have kicked the can down the road.
