Which is why so many where confused and frightened by the Obama “fist bump”, which we actually call the “pound” or “dap”. Apparently this one flew over their heads. I was unaware that there was a hand gesture that many white people has missed. Hell, I’ve seen white people doing the very complicated brotherly hand shake that becomes a hug thing. If you don’t know those gestures you are really out of touch, we’ve been doing them for years. Even decades.
