This isn’t anything new for us, we do this to everybody. For example, look at what happened after the first gulf war and how we’ve dealt with Iran. “You guys go ahead and revolt, we got your backs” and then when the shit hits the fan our tune changes to “Well, we didn’t mean it literally. Good luck with all that”.
