Once again, I am inclined to say Trumpty Dumpty needs a better tailor, because a well fitting jacket or vest should not ride up or need adjusting (unless it was a nervous tic of his).

Also, WaPo, that’s not a tuxedo coat. It’s a tailcoat, which a gentleman wears at white-tie affairs. A tux is for black-tie affairs, which are one notch down from white-tie in formality.
