re: #395 Dark_Falcon

It has nothing to do with “what works” and everything to do with who NPR crossed. In my mind, NPR fired Juan Williams unjustly, for simply giving voice to fears that, while not really fair, are widespread and not born of bigotry. NPR is also seen as having been bribed by George Soros (who recently gave them money) into veering to the left and attacking Fox News. NPR is seen as the enemy by conservatives, so it is attacked. I myself think that NPR needs reform, but I do not favor defunding at this time.

Fox is attacked for it’s abject hypocrisy - and not just by the left, the middle knows it is a joke too. Calling a “news” organisation out on being a shill which directly employs several past and potentially future candidates for president (all from one party) as “analysts” is fair game.

I believe WIlliam’s termination was justified by the terms of his contract with NPR - as fearmongering is not their business, and while he is in their employ his public comments reflect on them.
