Because that sort of thing is intolerable, whomever does it. Political violence does immense damage if allowed to occur. And if Trump wins because people were scared into voting for him by violent protests them he’s likely to try to launch some kind of crackdown, which will be very ugly.

Thus those inclined to attack Trump supporters thus should refrain from doing so, for their own good.
