I don’t get it. Are kill files controversial now?

They’re trying to contrive a conspiracy built on these lists. Thinking that they are being used to “block and report as spam” on Twitter. Of course this is not the case since they are only recommended for LGF users who use Tweetdeck and to add to the “global filter.”
