Someone needs to say it’s just plain unconstitutional. It violates freedom of religion and due process, to begin with.

People trying to immigrate to the US don’t have 1st Amendment protections till they actually come here. It does not violate the Constitution to tell a non-resident alien “We don’t like your religion, so you can’t live here.” But it is deeply offensive to American ideals, and it would cruel and wrong to put such a plan into practice.

Please understand that I’m not trying to give myself an ‘out’ to support Donald Trump. I will not vote for Trump for president, period. But I do not know how a ban on allowed entry into the US by Muslims who are not citizen or permanent residents would violate the Constitution.
