So when Roberts Alito or Scalia make decisions based on their ideology, it isn’t judicial activism or legislating from the bench? I am really tired of the posturing and hypocrisy here. The appointment of Justicies, byt it’s very nature has always had a political element. If you don’t like her politics then that is one thing, but it does not make her stupid or un-qualified for the post.

As to the Lady’s looks,

I am actually sorry and appalled now that I made light hearted discussion about implants. I suppose it is a good thing for you then that you will never date her. How would you respond to a commenter who said nasty things about the attractiveness of certain Republican women? Do ya think Barbara Bush was less of a first lady because she was not so attractive? It is not as if any woman in politics is there to be a sex symbol.

Soon to be Justice Sotomayor is honestly, on paper, vastly more qualified than Roberts. I know that may not sit well with some of you, but she has more, and more varied experience with the law than he does. I am not saying I like all of her descisions, but to digress to mean spirited name calling is simply not right.
