I imagine it depends on what you chalk up to the cost of the epi-pen. A nice vacation? A sportscar? When you account for it all properly, why they hardly make any money at all.

I called to get a refill for my migraine medications to the VA.

They pointed out the medication was no longer on the formulary, because the company that owned it ran up the price about 1000%. They’re going to fiddle with another medication now to see if it will work.

This isn’t just a problem with Pharma-bro or EpiPens.
