#262 Idioma

Christianity DOES advocate killing people.

Don’t make me open up my Bible to Leviticus or Deuteronomy, there’s plenty of advocating murder.

You pick and choose what parts of the bible you like and ignore the rest, because it’s convenient to do so in a free country with separation of church and state.

That is a blatant, outright lie. Christianity does no such thing and neither does Judaism. I’ve never heard any of my pastors speak about advocating murder. The OT is all about the history of the Israelites when God was their judge - neither Jew nor Christian have advocated using the OT for the last couple thousand years; there have been sick and twisted versions over the millennia such as puritanism and the Inquisition. Thankfully both were short lived in comparison to the historical timeline.

When was the last time you heard of the Jews stoning someone for adultery? Jesus actually put a stop to that when He told the woman caught in adultery that He doesn’t accuse her, but to go and sin no more.
