I’m not sure how much simpler I can make this for you.

1. The ATTACK occurred in Illinois (if it actually occurred, which is probably but not proved.)

2. A NOT-ATTACK-AT-ALL hack is claimed by this guy pr0f to have been done by him in Texas for the purpose of demonstrating vulnerability. He specifically states he’s not a vandal so he’s specifically NOT TAKING CREDIT for the attack in Illinois.

For whatever reason, you keep conflating these over and over.
