My great uncles (grandma’s brothers - is that a great uncle?) were in the pacific. All I know is they would never talk about it and the family would never buy anything made in Japan.

I can’t remember where my other grandfather served. He was the aircraft mechanic whose picture I posted in another thread some time ago.
