To people like Dana, the gun exists not for protection but to spread fear. Teh thing is though like many right wingers with guns, I think it’s just a prop for her. I’d be shocked if she actually has the knowledge of guns she acts. She just wants to act like she’s some bad ass when she’s just your typical right wing asshole trying to act tough by posing with a gun.
