The economic situation is very complicated and there’s a lot of misinformation being passed around. So far everything the government has been done is Constitutional no mater how many times people claim otherwise. We might eventually see some of this challenged in court but don’t hold you breath.
There’s also a lot of misinformation about the bailouts and how much control/ownership the government is taking in private companies.

In some ways this situation is very much like the bow we’re talking about in this thread. We aren’t seeing anything new. Pretty much any competent leader would be doing more or less the same thing with the economy that Obama is doing. The only thing that has changed is now the right is in a tizzy about the Constitution and government power grabs instead of the left.

I think the best thing to do is stay calm, watch, learn, read, educate yourself and think rationally.
