Look at the relationships:
The millionaire and his wife
Skipper and Gilligan.
That leaves BOTH Ginger and Mary Ann for the Professor. And he could certainly make useful items out of latex.

You can tell a lot about a man if you ask whether he prefers Ginger or Mary Ann. Lucky for me, my husband votes Mary Ann all the way.
