Can you imagine being a human a billion miles out from Planet Earth?

And we think we’ll be able to achieve interstellar travel? Not even imaginable for thousands of centuries, probably, and we always have to wonder about whether we’re going to kill each other off before then.

Strange to think that that perspective of Earth really scares the hell out of people. They cannot accept that they and their world are so insignificant.
