Always a fantastic day to see someone arguing for disenfranchising folks. Gives me warm fuzzies. (Needed after my walk in the rain, let me say.)

There’s a parallel here to the whole gay marriage thing. Marriage is held, by the government, to be a fundamental right. Barring access to that right requires that the government can show some demonstrable reason why it is in the public’s interest that it needs to be restricted. Icky feelings and a desire to punish don’t necessarily qualify.

Now wait a minute, that s a heck of a stretch. I point out killers and you draw a comparison to homosexuality. It’s wildly unfair to equate non violent love and deliberate murder. Icky feelings about killers and other violent predators are hardly inappropriate.

With that I’m done, more productive conversations to be had as close a one thread up. Buh bye.
