I think you’re right. This is going to be how the Republican establishment eventually brings Trump down, when they’ve extracted all the outrage-incitement juice from him. Trump is useful to the GOP right now, but he has an expiration date.

They better hurry up and bring him down. Everyday he opens his mouth he wrecks another GOP candidate and a little more of the party.

If he goes to the end of this year, there will only be rubble left come primary season.
