and that’s like Obama ordering drone attacks: both candidates understand that neither pacifism nor isolationism are viable policy options. Those in either party who cannot accept this can flounce. At some point you just have to accept you’re never going to please the nutbars, because they do not think in realistic terms. Only thing to do is ignore them and get on with the job.
