I cannot believe how screwed up the new Netflix is. I was wanting to see the first few episodes of The Walking Dead. I knew they had it for streaming so I signed up. With some difficulty, I found a list of the episodes they had, the first 25, and watched the first two. When I tried to select the third, though, I could not get back to the list of episodes. There is a search function, or what is alleged to be such a function, but it will return only one episode of a TV series (usually the first) when you enter the series title, and no others. There is a master list of TV series, and this will link to individual episodes, but it is hundreds and hundreds of entries long and it is not even in alphabetical order. I messed with this idiocy for about 15 minutes, never could get back to what I wanted, and finally cancelled my membership. What kind of morons can’t be bothered to put a list of hundreds of items in some kind of discernible order? This site must have been designed by terminal crackheads, people so stupid even Directv won’t hire them, and that on an unusually bad day.

this is exactly the kind of problem that often lands on my desk as a bug report that i’m supposed to figure out how to fix. let’s see…

1. link to navigate back to list of episodes from view mode of any episode
2. choice list episodes in chron order vs alpha order. default chron?
4. easy navigate from series title to list of all episodes as per 2., after search for series

how’s that?
