They started the Constellation program to build the heavy rocket capabilities and the platforms necessary to get missions back to the moon, including the Ares rocket and Orion capsule, but the program has been all but killed in name.

Exactly! We don’t even have a replacement for the shuttle program yet and we’re supposed to fly to the moon and build a permanent base in eight years? ROFL.

Also, isn’t one of the GOP memes this time around that everything is going to shit, we’re broke and we don’t have the money to pay for anything? How does that square with the massive amounts of money Newt’s space timeline would cost?
