Yeah, my “Early 2009” Whitebook is stuck on El Capitan. Sierra’s big feature was Siri on the Mac, which I would never use, and High Sierra’s is a new file system that’s incompatible with hard disks, so screw ‘em anyway.

Also, High Sierra’s new file system is only compatible with solid state hard drives. My Mac Mini with a fusion drive had major problems when I tried to upgrade. I was glad an Apple Store genius was able to realign the Fusion Drive to get it going again!
