So she became more conservative and preachy. Devout though? It’s a subjective term. Are they implying that the more liberal Muslims are not devout in their beliefs? If not, maybe they should drop the arbitrary and potentially inflammatory subjective delineation into devout and non-devout?
And telling people to “live the teachings of Islam” can mean a lot of different things as well depending on who you ask.
