I think going from being a lifelong GOPer to the Senate is just a huge leap imo.

It would not be the first time the GOP has engaged in rodent copulation.

And the old “the GOP left me” canard is getting old. Painter was a member of the GOP long after Goldwater’s and Nixon’s presidential runs specifically pandering to racists, Birchers, &c.

Painter is younger than I am. The GOP has been like this all my life; all Trump did was leave out the dog whistles.
