Second- as this is ANOTHER historic event in the RNP- why then are you so disturbed by discussion of the public eviseration of the first woman…the most recent historical event prior…

Your first - You can post off-topic where ever you like - where did I say don’t post off topic? No where. I don’t have that power, nor do I want it.Will you stop it means I want you to stop it because it’s stupid, not you must stop it.

Your second - I thought I was clear in my first post - sorry if not. I was not chiding you - I was chiding THEM for constantly trotting Gov. Palin in so they can bash her. I understand your coming to her defense, but for me, it just seems to egg them on. I also sense more than a touch of sexism in some of their remarks. Oh, they will deny it, for sure, but it’s there (not every comment - but some).

You can’t successfully debate people whose opinion is conceived - wholly or partly - based on prejudice, because they just don’t want to know, and that’s where - imho - a lot of the anti-Palin remarks ad naseum come from. I’ve rarely seen a decent debate on the subject, because so many people bought into the media circus, it muddied the waters for her.

If the posters were serious about the subject, they would know enough to know the difference between what Gov. Palin said and what Tina Fricking Fay said. They do not, as they have proven over and over and over. Therefore, I ignore them.

I’m fairly easy going and rarely chide other posters, but damn but I’m getting tired of the constant Palin bashing. Since there are no Palin threads, these sorry fellers her drag her in on a whim so they can f**king bash her. I am good and tired of it. That is it for me on this subject - because it is like beating a dead horse.

I’m also DISMAYED that people here care so little about Michael Steele that they would rather go “oh - this is like Palin being the first female candidate - let’s make fun of her for the rest of the thread! Haw haw haw.”
