I’ve lived in China for 10 years, and I still have only a vague grasp of Celsius temps. I know 20°C = 68°F from science, and C degrees are 1.8 x F degrees, so 30°C is 68+18 (86°F) and 40°C is too hot don’t go outside if you can help it. (68+36=104°F). So I work from those benchmarks.

Coming from the other end, 45 to 75 goes from wearing a decent coat to shorts and sandals, anything outside those and I’ll be checking and doublechecking before going outside for any lenght of time. But then again I’m just about translucent and not exactly used to cold either and that could probably stand to be stretched a bit :)
