Fuck that. Today is not the day for the Vatican to be denying the allegations at Easter Mass in St. Peters Square as petty gossip. If today is not the day to clean house, then today is not the day to obfuscate and evade either.

Easter is a time of self observation and renewal. If you can’t change how you do business on the day your Big Guy *rose from the dead* when are you going to do it?

But I’m not surprised. The Church hierarchy and bureaucracy are notoriously Conservative and hidebound. It’s one of the reasons I’m a former Mackerel Snapper.
