Sorry for the OT…

This past week I’ve been doing my darnest to stay away from local Facebook and social media accounts, all remembering one year since Hurricane María. I didn’t think I was strongly affected by the hurricane until people started re-sharing what they were posting a year ago. It was a brutal year for most of us, even as we toughen it out. Many lives were lost, many people have been broken by it, and our outlook is looking worse every passing day.

Not OT at all.
A reminder of why the fight against the GOP and Trump’s malfeasance and the focus on Kavanaugh is critical. There are lives in the balance. There are fellow citizens affected every bloody day. There is a clear and present danger to the whole damn world from the sabotage of sane climate policy. There is flat out evil in power in the US and rising across the world.

{{{andres}}} for what you’re going through on that battlefront. Hoping we can get enough votes and voices to start bending the moral arc back towards the light.
