Well that was a TOTAL waste of my time. Today’s interview was a webinar for a health insurance company that had a big part of their sales pitch being that they’re “exempt from the Affordable Care Act” and that they’re helping the small businesses that are being burdened by the law.

They made a lot of flashy promises — Training! Exclusive leads! Stock sharing! Bonuses! Income residuals for as long as your clients are customers! Company trips! But the numbers never looked right to me and the whole thing reeked of bullshit.

The worst part? No direct questions to the guy giving the webinar, no nothing. Just a half hour of sitting there with my phone up to my ear watching a PowerPoint sales pitch to join a company in selling health insurance to small businesses that will still get them in hot water because it’s supposedly outside the ACA. Oh, and I’m supposed to call some area manager to set up a second interview? LOL no. I’ll take my chances with the actual interviews I’m getting from actual companies that will give me a salary and benefits instead of an insurance scam.

Did he end it with a variation of “Greed is good”?
