Thanks KT,that’s pretty close to what I’m looking for. I’ll send him the holy books link from makeitstop too. I’ve really tried to be neutral on religion with my kids. I have told them both that I support their choices and will help them find answers when they want help. My daughter is agnostic after exploring alot of different things as a teen-everything from Wicca to Islam and alot of points in between. My son just asked me this morning about the separation of genders in a mosque and I had no answer for him. I guess I should learn a little.
I’m a very committed atheist but I do love religion and even eventually discovered a sense of “spirituality”. If nothing else, It’s very important to have an understanding of religion to appreciate art, music, books and movies better. The arts are loaded with religious symbols and references that even religious people often don’t notice.
