why do dogs try to dig in their crate —day after day?

Our Scout does the same thing - if the pup has a bone or treat in the cage, she may be trying to hide it for future use.

In other news, we’re about to make the decision to let Scout sleep outside of his crate at night - after thorough puppy-proofing of the bedroom, of course.
