1. Barack Obama dumped his pro-gay-Marriage minister, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose Church, The Trinity UCC officiates same-sex-marriages, for Rick Warren, who goes to Uganda to advocate death-penalty legislation for homosexuality.

2. Two days before the election, I got a robo-call featuring Barack Obama’s voice saying “Marriage is between a man and a woman” urging me to vote YES on Proposition 8.

I woudn’t call Barack Obama “pro-gay marriage.” While there are some Democrats who are (like Rep. Weiner), there are also some republicans (Giuliani, Schwarzenegger)

There were two choices in 2008 - one choice would have gays still subject to discrimination at every level - federal/military, state, local, etc.

The other is an administration has pushed for ending anti-gay discriminatory laws at the federal/military level and has refused to prosecute DOMA cases.
