I don’t think I could/ would want to remember different log ins/ passwords

For passwords, they tell you not to use the same one for different sites, but one way to get around that and still have something easy to remember is to tack on the name of the service, e.g.

[mypassword]LGF
[mypassword]Yahoo

(though it goes without saying that the [mypassword] portion should be something extremely hard for others to guess, and maybe you could do things to change the spelling of the service, e.g. Yah0o)
