I would normally dismiss it as ludicrous satire - but this IS the Trump Era, so never mind - but I wouldn’t put it past The Orange Anus to at least think about doing a “swap-out” of the VP nominee as a sort of made-for-TV “spectacular” at whatever is left of the RNC: i.e., ostentatiously “firing” Mike Pence right at then start of the Convention, and then milking the “drama” of naming a new nom for “Ratings Gold!!” for days, which he might probably imagine will boost his flagging campaign.

Oh, I could see that happening. But I think if things keep going the way they are going, anything like that at the convention is going to be seen as a stunt and a sign that he’s even further off the rails
