Oh I hear you on that and agree, but the detainee’s statement comes from the internal U.S. Army report on detainee abuse at Abu Ghraib prison. i trust that, and the guy who authored it— Major General Taguba.

I just linked the telegraph article because it summarises the whole situation (with some mistakes, but I’ve read the original us army report and can confirm that the telegraph correctly quoted the detainee’s statement from it at least.)
