Based upon what we heard, I’d say we’ve a 5-3-1 split of the SCOTUS bench: 5 in favor of overturning Roe and Casey, 3 against, and 1 trying desperately to push a “compromise” that his colleagues have no interest in entertaining.

There is no basis for a compromise. If previability isn’t the line at which a woman can choose, what is? An arbitrary date Roberts pulls out of a hat?
