Christie seems to be a ‘nothing happens without my initiating it or okaying it’ kind of guy. I have a hard time believing it was his staff that implemented this. They may try to make it look that way, but I think Christie either put this into action himself, or he asked his staff for suggestions and then picked this one as the plan to mess with the Mayor.

No way in my opinion this doesn’t go right to Christie himself. I don’t think his staff would do anything to make him look bad and the fact that he has held onto the staff without investigations and/or firing anyone says to me he is thinking he can control the outcome of all this too.

Bullies are control freaks. They also deny they are bullies.

Helikely can keep himself from being hit directly, IMO. His people are loyal to him, and they aren’t looking at hard time. Even if he ordered this, he won’t get in legal trouble.

Just my prediction. YMMV
