Per CL’s latest page but the 14 year old African-American boy that was executed by the state of South Carolina in 1944 was exonerated today. No witnesses, no evidence, 2 hour trial, and it took the jury of all 12 whites only 20 minutes to convict him. There were so many cases like this in the South. And its spirit continues today when people like Tamir Rice are attacked as “thugs” in the media by pathetic assholes.
