Some passings are expected, and I knew some would be much better off away from this life. I’m still saddened by some deaths beyond what I would think. I’ve seen much and lost my mother and father young. Lost friends to war and drugs and themselves. I used to joke that getting old was like your waterproofing wearing off. Like water off a ducks back, but time takes that away and now it sinks in and soaks you to the bones. I’m still shook by this loss. Time will pass and all will be as it will be. You learn to keep walking. Sorry for your loss.
