Nate Silver was my voice of reason last Presidential election. Now he just throws out gloom and doom. WTF happened to him?

On the other hand, my new voice of reason (and a damn smart one at that) is Propane Jane on twitter. She tells it like it is in a no BS way that is soothing to my frazzled nerve.
