Here is what it is like to be Old.

I have a box of GS Thin Mints in the pantry and I thought I would go downstairs and grab some. But when I got to the bottom of the stairs I forgot why I came down! I only knew it had something to do with a snack. So I looked in the fridge (wrong place) and saw a bunch of mandarines so I took some.

Then when I finished eating the mandarines I realized that I really wanted the cookies but I don’t want to go downstairs again because my feet hurt. But the mandarines are much healthier so there’s that.

I’m at the stage of my life that I ask myself questions like “Why am I here?” Not in the philosophical sense, but as in “Why am I in the basement?”
