re: #428 Slumbering Behemoth

Despite a great many historic failings, and many other failings still present today, the ideal has not been one of blood and soil, of heritage and ancestry within the land. It is one of carving your own path as an American, no matter where you come from.

It is one of constant struggle. Gay rights, women’s rights, minority rights. We carve a path through what seems to be immovable stone. Yet piece by piece, that mountain of stone is moved by will and endurance, and not by the faith of a mustard seed.

Thus is the will of the Lord our Gravel.

Very deep thoughts…. and, while waxing poetic, also insightful. But my jealous feelings were as a youth, not yet learned. :)
