I’ve never understood the fear of guns. I grew up in a house with guns. My friends did. I have known many policemen with kids.

Never a problem with guns in the house.

As a result, I really don’t understand your focus on it.

A few years ago my boss’s 13 year old son was shot and killed when the kid and his buddies were screwing around with his pistol when the folks were out.
That’s one reason. I think there are better ways to protect your house and family than just relying on a weapon to kill intruders.
